The Voghera Film Festival (VFF) is an international festival dedicated to short films, hosted at the Cinema Arlecchino, in the center of Voghera (province of Pavia). It is an IMDb qualifying festival, a sign of its recognition in the international short film circuit.
Competition categories
The competition is divided into several sections:
- Short films up to 30 minutes, of any genre (fiction, animation, documentary)
- Horror short films up to 30 minutes
- Screenplays
Works in languages other than Italian are accepted with subtitles in Italian or English.
Awards and jury
An international jury composed of personalities from the world of culture and cinema awards numerous recognitions, including the Sandro Bolchi Award for best direction, the award for best short film, best horror, best cinematography, best editing, best soundtrack, best actors, best screenplay, and the Audience Award. Screenings are free admission, with the possibility of voluntary donation.
