This is home to the Porchetta Festival, a local feast that reaches its 23rd edition in 2026 and has become a staple of the Garfagnana summer.

Porchetta, the queen of the feast

The heart of the festival is, naturally, the porchetta: pork roasted according to tradition, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, fragrant with herbs and spices. Dinner is served starting at 7:00 PM under covered areas set up in the village, accompanied by typical dishes from the Garfagnana mountain cuisine. It is genuine food, made of simple and hearty flavors, designed for those who want to enjoy real porchetta in an authentic setting, far from passing trends.

Music, dancing, and village atmosphere
