The Children's Carnival in Figline

The Children's Carnival is one of the most beloved traditions of Figline e Incisa Valdarno, a town in the province of Florence, located in the heart of the Tuscan Valdarno. Every year, during the Carnival season, the historic center is filled with color, music, and joy thanks to the traditional parade of allegorical floats that winds through Piazza Marsilio Ficino, named after the famous humanist philosopher born in Figline.

The festival spans several dates, usually including Sundays in February and Shrove Tuesday, the grand finale of the Carnival.
