In the heart of the Piedmontese Alps, at an altitude of 1760 meters, Claviere celebrates Carnival with an event entirely dedicated to children. The Children's Carnival brings the charming Church Square to life with an afternoon of festivities featuring games, activities, and music, set against the unique backdrop of the snow-capped mountains of the Via Lattea ski area, in the province of Turin.
The event is designed for families who choose the mountains during the carnival holidays. With confetti and colorful masks, children are the true stars of a simple and engaging program:
An opportunity to combine the magic of Carnival with the charm of a snow holiday in one of the most characteristic villages of the Upper Susa Valley.
Claviere is one of the five Piedmontese municipalities in the Via Lattea ski area, along with Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario, and Pragelato. Located right on the Italian-French border, at the foot of the Montgenèvre Pass, the resort has always been a gateway between Italy and France and a favorite destination for families for skiing and winter sports.
