The village's end-of-summer festival

The Castellaro Festival is the traditional end-of-summer festival of Nogarole Vicentino, a municipality in the province of Vicenza nestled in the hills between Lessinia and the Chiampo valley. The name refers to the Castellaro, a site of ancient settlement that gives identity to the territory. The festival takes place over several weekends, between late August and the first days of September, and is one of the community's most anticipated events.

Gastronomy and wood-fired oven

The heart of the festival is the large food stand, which opens every evening from 6:30 PM. On the menu are traditional Venetian dishes and festival specialties: potato gnocchi, grilled meat, wood-fired pizza, fried foods, fritters, and paella. A rich and varied offering, accompanied by local wines, which makes the table the meeting point of the evenings.

Music, dancing, and themed parties

The evenings are enlivened by music, DJs, and dancing, with themed parties, Latin American nights, and ballroom dancing alternating throughout the event's calendar. Organized by the 'Sagra Nogarole Vicentino' committee with community involvement, the Castellaro Festival is an authentic village celebration, where taste, music, and conviviality blend in the late summer atmosphere of the Vicenza hills.
