The Casoncello Festival is the summer gastronomic event of Strozza, a municipality in the Valle Imagna in the Province of Bergamo. It takes place at the municipal sports facilities in Via Adamello and celebrates one of the most representative dishes of the Orobic tradition.

A Traditional Raviolo

Casoncelli (casonsei in dialect) are ravioli with a rich filling, typically seasoned with melted butter, crispy pancetta, and sage. It is one of the symbols of Bergamo cuisine, and in Strozza, it becomes the focus of a festival that attracts enthusiasts and gourmets from the neighboring towns of Valle Imagna and the plain.

Now in its numerous editions, the Casoncello Festival is a staple of Strozza's summer, organized with the support of the Municipality and local associations. It also provides an opportunity to discover the Valle Imagna, a green and tranquil valley behind Bergamo.
