A Summer Evening in the Heart of Casalgrande
The Casalgrande Summer Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Casalgrande, in the province of Reggio Emilia, in the heart of the ceramic-producing Emilia-Romagna region. Promoted by Pro Loco Casalgrande APS with the patronage of the Municipal Administration, the event brings a great popular festival of music, entertainment, and conviviality to Piazza della Costituzione.
Live Music and DJ Sets Under the Stars
The heart of the event is the main stage set up in the square, featuring alternating live concerts, performances by nationally renowned artists and local bands, followed by DJ sets that liven up the night until late. In past editions, the square has hosted well-known names in Italian music, accompanied by emerging local bands that kicked off the evenings with energy and enthusiasm.
More Than Just Concerts: Food Trucks, Exhibitors, and Play Area
Around the performance area, the festival enlivens the town center streets with a rich array of offerings:
- Food truck area and refreshment points along Via Aldo Moro, with specialties to enjoy outdoors;
- Art and craft exhibitors, showcasing handmade items and creativity;
- Play area dedicated to children and families;
- shops in the town center open for the occasion.
In recent years, Pro Loco has also managed an accessible area for people with disabilities, with a dedicated entrance, adequate facilities, and assistance available by reservation: a sign of attention that makes the festival truly for everyone.
A Free Festival for the Entire Community
Admission to the Casalgrande Summer Festival is free. The event was created as a gathering point for the Casalgrande community and neighboring towns in the Val Secchia, and in just a few editions, it has become a local summer classic, capable of filling the square with families, young people, and music lovers. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy a carefree evening in the center of Casalgrande, with good music, flavors, and a festive atmosphere.

The 2026 edition of the Casalgrande Summer Festival is scheduled for Casalgrande (RE), in the usual setting of Piazza della Costituzione, with the proven formula that has led to the success of previous editions: live music, DJ sets in the square, food truck area, art and craft exhibitors, and play areas for children. Admission is free.
