Casalgrande in Fiore is the young but already appreciated floricultural fair that enlivens the center of Casalgrande, a Municipality in the province of Reggio Emilia, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. For one spring Sunday, the squares and streets of the town fill with colors, scents, and green proposals: an open-air exhibition designed to bring citizens closer to the world of nature, agriculture, and floriculture, a growing sector in the Reggio Emilia area.

Who organizes and where

The event is promoted by Pro Loco Casalgrande with the patronage and support of the municipal administration. The heart of the event is the historic center, with Piazza della Costituzione and the surrounding streets transformed into an open-air exhibition route, with free admission, easily accessible on foot.

Exhibitors and farmers' market

Along the route, you will find nurserymen with plants and flowers, producers of natural and typical products, beekeepers with honey and its derivatives, and the Coldiretti Farmers' Market, with zero-kilometer agricultural products. There are also stands dedicated to sustainable mobility, with electric cars, and information spaces on the environment and energy managed by entities like Iren, which also make the day an opportunity for ecological awareness.

Culture, art, and activities for children

Casalgrande in Fiore is not just about floriculture: the program includes meetings on nature and biodiversity, Coldiretti insights on the importance of agricultural soils, and institutional greetings from the mayor and councilors. There is also space for culture, with an exhibition by painters from "Arte a Casalgrande" and the "Casalgrande Legge" book crossing initiative curated by the Sognalibro Library. For the little ones, activities such as the "Eco Green Goose Game", with an environmental theme, and humorous storytelling are planned.

Born in 2025, the event has become in just a few editions an anticipated appointment for the Casalgrande community, capable of combining the enhancement of green spaces, the promotion of local producers from Emilia-Romagna, defined as Italy's "food valley", and a day of celebration for families and visitors from the entire region.
