In the heart of the Florentine Chianti, just a few kilometers from Florence, the town of Montespertoli celebrates Carnival with Carnevalspertoli, a festive day that turns the historic center into a vast space for play and entertainment. The event, now a long-awaited tradition for children and families, centers on Piazza del Popolo, the town's main square, and involves local associations, merchants, and volunteers from across the community.

The heart of Carnevalspertoli is the afternoon dedicated to children. The square fills with confetti, inflatables, games, and workshops in a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. There are prizes for the best costumes, snacks, and skill games that keep the square lively until late afternoon. The festival is completely free and open to everyone.
