Sport Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 Sport and Volunteering Festival returns to Montelupo Fiorentino on Sunday, September 13, 2026, under the guidance of the Municipality. Piazza dell'Unione Europea will once again transform into a large open-air gym, featuring performances, practical trials, and information spaces dedicated to every type of sports discipline. The invitation to participate is open to associations, clubs, and sports organizations based or active in the municipal area, as well as those offering disciplines not yet present in the city.

The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be announced by the Municipality of Montelupo Fiorentino in the weeks leading up to the event, following the collection of applications from sports associations (deadline set for June 30, 2026).
Based on previous editions, the afternoon will feature performances and demonstrations by local sports clubs, free practical trials open to adults and children, and information booths from volunteering organizations set up along Piazza dell'Unione Europea.

When and where
The event takes place in Piazza dell'Unione Europea, in the center of Montelupo Fiorentino (province of Florence), on an afternoon in September. Admission is free.
How to get there
By train: the Montelupo-Capraia station is on the Florence-Empoli-Pisa line, just a few minutes' walk from the center. By car: take the Montelupo Fiorentino exit from the FI-PI-LI highway; parking is available near the center. Montelupo is approximately 25 km from Florence.
Tips
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing to participate in the practical trials of the various disciplines. The event is suitable for families and children.
