The Villa Comunale becomes the living room of Nola-style comedy
Carbonara che Ride – Comedy and Local Heritage Festival is the summer event that brings Carbonara di Nola to life, a small town in the Metropolitan City of Naples, in Campania. Promoted by the Municipality of Carbonara di Nola, the event turns the Villa Comunale into a hub of local comedy, where for one evening, everyone laughs, eats, and celebrates together.
The festival offers a simple and winning formula: cabaret shows, entertainment, and the chance to dine outdoors in a cheerful and shared atmosphere. Comedy is the true star, but the event revolves around a world of popular traditions, local flavors, and the joy of being together. It is a festival designed for the community, capable of attracting audiences from across the entire Nola region.
Following the success of the first edition, the Municipality returned with an even richer evening. The second edition took place on Sunday, June 21, 2026, starting at 8:30 PM, in the Villa Comunale. On stage, hosts Margherita Salemme and Francesco Albanese—the latter also serving as artistic director and opening act—warmed up the atmosphere, while the guest of honor for the evening was the actor and comedian Giovanni Esposito, a well-known face of Neapolitan cinema and theater.
Carbonara che Ride is more than just a comedy festival: it is a project to promote the local area. The Municipality of Carbonara di Nola aims to highlight its identity through entertainment, traditions, and local products, offering citizens and visitors a chance to meet. Choosing the Villa Comunale as the heart of the event strengthens the bond between the festival and the town's public spaces.
Admission is completely free, allowing everyone to participate. Between jokes, the audience can enjoy local culinary offerings and experience an evening of pure fun. Carbonara che Ride confirms itself as a highly anticipated summer appointment, capable of combining the lightness of comedy with the rediscovery of the roots of this corner of Campania.
