Among the most evocative initiatives of the Cantine Aperte weekend in Friuli Venezia Giulia is Cantine Aperte Bike, the wine-tourism cycling tour that starts from Capriva del Friuli, in the heart of the Collio Goriziano. It's a slow and sustainable way to discover one of Italy's most renowned wine-growing areas, where hills embroidered with vines meet woods and small valleys.

A Scenic and Accessible Route

The itinerary, designed to be accessible to everyone, winds through the Collio vineyards, passing through the Conca del Preval — a wetland of great natural interest — and the Plessiva Park, a green lung near Cormons.
