Bringoli, the soul of the Umbrian table

The Bringoli Festival in Lisciano Niccone is one of the most beloved summer festivals in the Upper Tiber Valley, in the province of Perugia. The absolute stars are the bringoli, large handmade spaghetti made with water, flour, and salt, about twenty centimeters long, served with traditional sauces prepared by the festival volunteers.

A genuine popular festival

For several evenings, the food stalls offer, in addition to bringoli, typical Umbrian appetizers, traditional main courses, and homemade desserts, all accompanied by local wines. There is no shortage of live music, with the best orchestras from Umbria performing on stage almost every night, while children and adults can have fun with games and attractions.
