In the evocative Beaulard pine forest, on Via del Mulino in Oulx (Province of Turin), BOSTER – Forest and Territory returns for its 13th edition in 2026. Established in 2002, the biennial event is one of Italy's most important gatherings for the forestry and wood industry. On June 26, 27, and 28, 2026, the Upper Susa Valley transforms into a massive open-air showcase where companies don't just exhibit, but demonstrate their machinery at work in the real environment of the forest.
Machinery in action and the wood-energy supply chain
What makes BOSTER unique is its hands-on nature: over 60 exhibiting companies operate logging machinery, primary wood-processing equipment, land maintenance technologies, and wood-energy systems (boilers, stoves, biofuels) live. The brands present include industry leaders in the forestry sector. Demonstrations take place directly among the trees, with guided tours allowing visitors to observe operations in their natural setting.
Conferences, training, and the role of the Piedmont Region
BOSTER is more than just machines: the conference section addresses forestry policies, supply chain projects, certifications, and local development. The Piedmont Region, with the support of IPLA, is present with an expanded information stand dedicated to regional nurseries and forestry teams, as well as practical demonstrations led by forestry instructors (chain sharpening, felling techniques, textile ropes for logging, chestnut grafting). On Saturday, June 27, the seminar «From the classroom to the forest» will be held, focusing on training paths and professional opportunities in the Piedmontese forestry supply chain.
Entertainment, sport, and taste
Alongside the technical program, BOSTER offers moments of pure spectacle. The Lumberjack Triathlon tests the skills of operators in wood-processing trials, while the International Unimog Gathering brings together fans of these historic and modern off-road vehicles. There is also the Wood & Food market, featuring food, wine, and local crafts from the Susa Valley: a perfect chance to discover the flavors and traditions of the region.
An event for everyone, in the woods of the Susa Valley
Although it is a trade fair, BOSTER is designed for families and curious visitors who can stroll through the pine forest, watch the demonstrations, and enjoy a day immersed in Alpine nature. The setting of the Beaulard Pine Forest, at over 1,100 meters above sea level, makes the visit a true mountain experience just a stone's throw from Oulx and the peaks of the Upper Susa Valley.
BOSTER — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of BOSTER, the 13th in the event's history, confirms the summer formula in the Beaulard pine forest in Oulx. Over 60 exhibiting companies present logging and wood-processing machinery and equipment, operating them live in the woods. Ample space is given to the wood-energy supply chain, technical conferences, and professional training. The Piedmont Region doubles its stand and offers practical demonstrations and the seminar «From the classroom to the forest». The program is completed by the International Unimog Gathering, the Lumberjack Triathlon, and the Wood & Food food and craft market.

Tickets
Daily ticket €7, 3-day pass €14. For groups of over 10 people: 9 tickets at €7 + 1 free entry. Free entry for those over 70, children up to 12, and people with disabilities plus their companion. Friday, June 26, is free for Oulx residents. Online pre-sale available on the official website.
How to get there
By car: A32 Turin-Bardonecchia motorway, Oulx exit; the Beaulard pine forest is just a few minutes from the town center. By train: Oulx-Cesana-Claviere station on the Turin-Bardonecchia line, followed by a local connection.
