Three days of wine, food, and music in the historic center of Città Sant'Angelo
Borgo DiVino in Tour is the traveling food and wine festival that brings the best Italian wineries to the country's most picturesque villages, stopping in Città Sant'Angelo, a stunning town in the province of Pescara included in the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy circuit. The event brings the historic center to life for three days dedicated to fine drinking, gastronomy, and music, transforming Corso Vittorio Emanuele II into a long, open-air tasting path.
The heart of the event is the wineries: over thirty producers from across the peninsula present more than one hundred labels for tasting. Alongside wines from Abruzzo—the land of Montepulciano, Trebbiano, and Cerasuolo—you will find bottles from Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Tuscany, Marche, Umbria, Lazio, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata, and Sicily. It is the ideal opportunity to compare different grape varieties, denominations, and styles while chatting directly with the producers about their craft.
Admission to the event is free: you can stroll freely among the stands in the historic center. Those who wish to taste can purchase the tasting kit, which includes a branded glass with a convenient carrying pouch and a series of samples of your choice from the participating wineries. A simple and informal format, designed for savoring wines at your own pace while wandering through the village alleys.
In Città Sant'Angelo, wine is paired with local gastronomic offerings: from charcuterie boards to fried treats, from pinsa to pallotte cacio e ova, and the essential Abruzzo arrosticini. Every evening, the historic center fills with live music, with bands and artists accompanying the tastings until late. A mix of glasses, flavors, and melodies that creates a warm and convivial atmosphere.
For several consecutive years, Borgo DiVino has chosen Città Sant'Angelo as one of its most anticipated stops in Abruzzo, thanks to the beauty of the village and the vibrancy of its historic center. The event is organized by Experience Lab (Valica Group) as part of a national tour visiting dozens of Italian villages, in collaboration with the 'I Borghi più Belli d'Italia' association.
The 2026 edition of Borgo DiVino in Tour in Città Sant'Angelo takes place from Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14, in the heart of the historic center along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. More than 30 participating wineries will offer over 100 labels for tasting, coming from twelve Italian regions: Abruzzo, Lazio, Veneto, Marche, Piedmont, Lombardy, Puglia, Tuscany, Basilicata, Sicily, Molise, and Umbria. Alongside the wines, seven local gastronomic offerings and live concerts every evening make the event an unmissable appointment of the Abruzzo spring.
Gastronomic offerings include: charcuterie boards, fried treats, pinsa, Roman dishes, pizzonte, pallotte cacio e ova, and arrosticini.
