About Blue Night

The Blue Night is the most anticipated nocturnal event of the summer in Silvi Marina, on the Teramo coast. For one evening, the Adriatic seafront transforms into a pedestrian zone brought to life by live music, DJ sets, performances, street artists, and markets, while shops remain open until late at night. Organized by the Municipality of Silvi, the event draws thousands of residents and tourists to Piazza Marconi for a festive evening that combines entertainment, commerce, and the promotion of the Abruzzo region.

The Blue Night of Silvi Marina

The Blue Night is the great summer white night of Silvi, a seaside town in the province of Teramo, Abruzzo. Every year, in the heart of August, the seafront of Silvi Marina lights up for a single evening dedicated to music, entertainment, and conviviality, attracting families, young people, and vacationers along the entire Adriatic coast.

A seafront turned into a pedestrian zone

The beating heart of the event is Piazza Marconi, but the festivities extend across the entire waterfront: from the afternoon, the stretch of the seafront is closed to traffic and transformed into a large pedestrian zone, where visitors can stroll among stalls, artisans, and shops with displays open until late at night. The format distributes entertainment across multiple city locations, ensuring each square has its own musical or performance offering.

Music, shows, and street artists

The Blue Night program ranges from live concerts to DJ sets, featuring emerging bands, dance orchestras, street artists, children's entertainment, and theatrical performances. There is no shortage of food and wine options, with street food and stands accompanying the public throughout the evening. The 2026 edition features radio and television host Claudio Guerrini from Radio 2 in Piazza Marconi, with the main event scheduled for 10:00 PM.

A highlight of the municipal summer calendar

The Blue Night is one of the flagship events of the summer calendar promoted by the Municipality of Silvi through the Department of Culture and Tourism, which enlivens the seaside season every year with concerts, festivals, sporting events, and popular celebrations. The evening represents a defining moment for the local community and is one of the most attended events of the Teramo summer.

Why it is worth attending

  • The Silvi Marina seafront entirely pedestrianized, to be enjoyed on foot amidst music and stalls
  • Free concerts and DJ sets in multiple squares of the city
  • A festive atmosphere that involves residents, tourists, and merchants
  • The setting of the Abruzzo Adriatic coast, between the beach and the town center

Blue Night 2026
