Bizzarella Fest in Castel Volturno

Bizzarella Fest is a new festival dedicated to three icons of Campanian cuisine: beer, pizza, and mozzarella. The first edition takes place from April 30 to May 3, 2026, in Baia Verde, a seaside district of Castel Volturno, in the square facing Lido Bernardino, in the province of Caserta. The event is organized by the APS Baia Viva association, chaired by Dario Tudisco, with the moral patronage of the Municipality of Castel Volturno.

Taste and Tradition of Campania

The heart of the event is its culinary offering: stalls serving draft beer, freshly baked pizza, and live mozzarella production, curated by the Prati al Volturno dairy from Cancello ed Arnone. Visitors can watch the traditional stretching of the curd and taste the freshly made mozzarella in one of Italy's most renowned regions for this product. The bridge between the May Day holiday and the first sunny days makes the festival a convivial occasion for both residents and visitors to the Domitian coast.

The Four-Evening Program

• Thursday, April 30: Stands open at 6:00 PM followed by a concert from the band Vesuvio Beat featuring vocalist Mara Sarnelli.
• Friday, May 1: Performance by the Bottari della Cantica Popolare, showcasing the rhythms and rural traditions of Campania.
• Saturday, May 2: A night of comedy with Simone Schettino and Enzo Fischietti.
• Sunday, May 3: Live music with the Danilo Festinese Band performing popular covers.

The evenings are hosted by presenter Roberta Del Buono, with artistic collaboration from Benito Panetta.

A Family-Friendly Event

Beyond the music and fine food, Bizzarella Fest reserves plenty of space for children with a funfair area, inflatables, and entertainment. There is also a market featuring local exhibitors and handicrafts. The atmosphere is that of a typical Campanian village festival, where gastronomy, entertainment, and social life blend in a festive, accessible setting.
