The Beer Music Fest, also known as BMF, is the craft beer festival that transforms the center of Turi—a town in the Metropolitan City of Bari in the heart of Puglia—into a vibrant village of music, flavors, and conviviality every year. Conceived and organized by the Assurd Batukada association and musical group, the festival is designed as a gathering point for the town: two evenings where the squares fill with people, the aromas of street food, and sounds echoing from multiple stages simultaneously.
Craft beer and local flavors
The heart of the event is craft beer: Apulian breweries set up their tapping stations to offer the public their creations, ranging from easy-drinking light beers to more complex, structured brews. Accompanying the pints is a wide gastronomic selection curated by various exhibitors, featuring street food, traditional dishes, and local specialties, perfect for an informal dinner enjoyed outdoors while strolling between concerts.
Three squares, plenty of music
The BMF follows a "diffused festival" format: live music is spread across several squares in the historic center, featuring concerts, DJ sets, and appearances by the Assurd Batukada street band, which parades through the town streets, drawing the crowd in with the rhythms of Brazilian percussion. Beer Music Fest — edition 2026
For its second edition, the Beer Music Fest shifts its dates from September to the heart of summer, bringing two festive evenings to Turi on the weekend of July 3 and 4, 2026. The headquarters is Piazza Capitano Giuseppe Colapietro, in the center of town, where the brewery stands, food stalls, and live music stages are concentrated.
The 2026 edition confirms the formula that combines craft beer, street food, and concerts, under the direction of the Assurd Batukada association and musical group. Among the values promoted by the organizers are community cohesion and local development, with the participation of local associations in setting up the squares.

Location
The festival takes place in the historic center of Turi (BA), with events held in Piazza Capitano Giuseppe Colapietro (Palazzo Marchesale) and the surrounding town squares.
How to reach us
Turi can be reached by car via the SS100 Bari-Taranto road (exit for Casamassima/Turi), or via provincial roads from Putignano and Sammichele di Bari. By train, it is served by the Ferrovie del Sud Est on the Bari-Putignano line.
Entry and hours
Admission is free. The evenings begin in the early evening and continue until late at night with DJ sets. Comfortable clothing is recommended for moving between the squares.
