About I Fiori Musicali

I Fiori Musicali is the concert season promoted by the Fondazione Pasquale Battista in Triggiano, in the province of Bari. Now in its third edition in 2026, the festival explores a vast musical repertoire from March to November: from Baroque Miserere to the fusion of classical music and jazz, from sonic journeys to Pergolesi's comic opera, and the restless genius of Mozart. Concerts are held at the Casa della Cultura «Rocco Dicillo» and the Church of Santa Maria Veterana, with free admission.

A season of classical music in Triggiano

I Fiori Musicali is the concert season conceived and promoted by the Fondazione Pasquale Battista in the municipality of Triggiano, a town in the metropolitan area of Bari, Apulia. Launched in 2024, the festival reached its third edition in 2026 and has established itself as one of the most refined musical appointments in the Bari area, under the artistic direction of maestro Nicola Petruzzella.

A journey through genres and centuries

The project explores music in all its forms: from the sacred intimacy of the Baroque Miserere to the creative freedom of quartets blending classical and jazz, from sonic journeys spanning continents to the comic lightness of Pergolesi's La serva padrona, and the emotional tensions of the Mozartian universe. Each concert is designed as an immersive experience, capable of bringing even the less experienced audience closer to the classical repertoire.

The venues

The season takes place in two iconic spaces of Triggiano's cultural life: the Casa della Cultura «Rocco Dicillo», with its theater hall, and the evocative Church of Santa Maria Veterana, on Via Carroccio, an ideal setting for sacred music programs and oratorios. The choice to alternate between theater and church reconnects music with the city's urban and devotional spaces.

Free admission and public support

All concerts offer free admission, in line with the Foundation's commitment to making great music accessible to the entire community. The festival is sponsored by the Department of Culture of the Apulia Region and the Municipality of Triggiano, with the support of local private sponsors.
