The craft beer week in Mignano Monte Lungo
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The Beer Festival is the summer event that transforms Mignano Monte Lungo, a town in the upper Caserta area of Campania, into the local capital of craft beer. For about a week, spanning late July and early August, the town's outdoor spaces host beer taps, food stalls, and a stage for live music, with evenings continuing until late at night. It is one of the most anticipated summer events in this corner of the Caserta province, attracting crowds from nearby southern Lazio and Molise as well.
The heart of the festival is, naturally, the beer. Recent editions have featured a selection of Italian and international craft productions, covering a wide range of styles to satisfy both curious newcomers and seasoned beer enthusiasts:
Service is provided at the stands, with draft beers poured by staff ready to offer recommendationsโa great way to explore craft beer in a relaxed, informal village festival setting.
Alongside the beer, the gastronomic side of the festival is designed to pair perfectly with your drink and provide a comfortable dining experience for families and groups. Previous editions have featured gourmet sandwiches, grilled meats, traditional fried snacks, street food specialties, and desserts to round off the evening. The quality of raw materials from the Caserta region, a land of livestock farming and excellent dairy products, remains a key highlight of the menu.
Every evening, the program pairs beer with music: local bands, DJ sets, and live performances keep the area buzzing until late. The established format sees stands opening around 7:00 PM, with the evening building up to the main concert as the square fills with groups of friends, long tables, and guests of all ages. Past editions have concluded with a fireworks display and a final toast.
The Beer Festival isn't just for beer lovers. The event features a dedicated kids' area with inflatable games and entertainment, while quiet relaxation zones allow those who prefer to stay away from the stage to enjoy the night. This family-oriented dimension, typical of summer festivals in Campania, has made the event a meeting point for the entire community and for the many emigrants who return to the town during the height of summer.
The municipality of Mignano Monte Lungo is located at the northernmost tip of the province of Caserta, in a strategic position between Campania and Lazio, along the historic route connecting Capua to Cassino. The town is dominated by the Castello di Ettore Fieramosca, which defines its skyline and tells the story of its medieval origins. Its accessibility is one of the reasons for the festival's success: the town is served by an A1 motorway exit and its own railway station, a rarity for a town of this size.
For 2026, the Campania festival calendars indicate that the Beer Festival will take place from July 26 to August 2. At the moment, a detailed program with artist names and evening schedules has not been released; it is recommended to check for updates on the organization's social media channels and on the posters displayed in town in the days leading up to the opening.
The 2026 Beer Festival in Mignano Monte Lungo is scheduled from July 26 to August 2, 2026.
