Three days of tradition, music, and sport on the Piné Plateau
Bedol en Festa is one of the most cherished events in Bedollo, a small town nestled on the Piné Plateau in the Province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). The festival takes place in the hamlet of Centrale and is born from the commitment of three associations that form the beating heart of village life: the Bedollo Volunteer Firefighters, the Alpini group, and the local branch of AVIS. The result is a weekend that weaves together conviviality, music, sports, and solidarity, offering an authentic glimpse into the mountain culture of Trentino.
The program spans three days, each with its own distinct character. The opening evening is dedicated to mountain choral singing, featuring a choir festival that celebrates the roots and identity of these lands, followed by evening entertainment. The second day focuses on sports, with a 5-a-side football tournament featuring fire brigade teams, accompanied by music and accordion dancing.
The final day is all about the bond with the territory: it kicks off with the "In cammino con AVIS" walk, an excursion along the trails surrounding the plateau, designed to rediscover the local woods, lakes, and landscapes. The afternoon continues with the traditional mora tournament and folk music, closing on a high note in the company of residents and visitors.
Attending Bedol en Festa is also a chance to explore the Piné Plateau, a land of lakes, forests, and ancient traditions. The event is designed for those seeking a genuine experience, defined by village hospitality, local cuisine, and a strong sense of community. The volunteer-led nature of the organization gives the festival a family atmosphere, where proceeds support the activities of the promoting associations within the Bedollo municipality.
The 2026 edition of Bedol en Festa was held in the hamlet of Centrale, in the municipality of Bedollo, from July 3 to 5, with three days dedicated to music, sports, and mountain traditions.
The event is organized by the Bedollo Volunteer Firefighters together with the Alpini group and the AVIS section, with kitchen service and stands on-site.
