In the heart of the Upper Vinschgau Valley, the municipality of Sluderno/Schluderns in the province of Bolzano (South Tyrol, Trentino-Alto Adige) hosts one of the region's most popular outdoor summer parties: the Beachfete & Beach Volleyball Tournament. For an entire weekend, the Konfall area, near the old airfield (Flugplatz), is covered in sand and styled like a real beach at the foot of the mountains, creating a unique blend of sports, music, and nightlife.

Sports and Celebration: Beach Volleyball at the Core

The sporting heart of the event is the beach volleyball tournament, played on custom-built sand courts and involving amateur teams from the valley and beyond. Surrounding the courts, the venue transforms into a massive open-air festival as night falls.

Each evening features a line-up of DJs keeping the party going until the early hours. Returning highlights include the laser show, the midnight spectacle (Mitternachtsshow), food trucks with street food offerings, and an exclusive VIP area. Every year, the event adopts a specific theme that defines its decor and atmosphere.

The Beachfete is organized by ASV Schluderns (Amateursportverein Schluderns), the local amateur sports association, making it one of their most important annual fundraising and community events. This format successfully combines the competitive spirit of the tournament with high-energy entertainment, attracting crowds from across the Vinschgau Valley and South Tyrol.
