The Assunta Festival is the Ferragosto celebration held in the village of Raossi, the main town of the Vallarsa municipality in the province of Trento. Every year, around August 15th, the community gathers to celebrate the Assumption of Mary, a deeply felt occasion in the villages of the Trentino mountains. The event is promoted by the Comitato Raossi Iniziative, the recreational association that enlivens village life throughout the year.

In the best tradition of village festivals, the Assunta Festival weaves together religious observance and celebration. The day of Ferragosto is marked by celebrations in honor of the Madonna Assunta, the patron of the event, followed by festivities featuring food stalls set up by committee volunteers, music, and social gatherings for all ages. How to get there
Raossi is the main town of the Vallarsa municipality (TN), reachable by car from Rovereto by going up the valley along the SP 46 del Pasubio (about 20 minutes). The reference railway station is Rovereto, on the Brenner line.
