The modern and contemporary art exhibition and market at Fiere di Parma
Twice a year, the Parma exhibition center transforms into a large exhibition space dedicated to art: ArtParma Fair is the exhibition and market for Modern and Contemporary Art that brings together over 80 galleries from all over Italy in Pavilion 7 of Fiere di Parma. The event, organized by NEF Nord Est Fair, takes place concurrently with Mercanteinfiera, one of Europe's most important events dedicated to antiques and vintage items: a unique opportunity to explore centuries of art history and collecting in a single visit.
The exhibition route of ArtParma Fair offers an analytical overview of the most influential and emerging art movements: from Futurism to Abstractionism, from Metaphysical Art to Pop Art, from Informal Art to Conceptual Art, up to the latest trends in street art and pop surrealism. Among the works presented by the galleries are pieces by great masters of the last century, such as Giorgio de Chirico, Mimmo Rotella, and Lucio Fontana, alongside the work of contemporary and new-generation artists.
The heart of the offering dedicated to new generations is the Contemporary Art Talent Show (C.A.T.S.), the section that highlights emerging artists, young galleries, associations, and collectives. Here, art becomes more accessible, with works offered at prices under 5,000 euros: a concrete opportunity to approach collecting, even for those taking their first steps.
ArtParma Fair is held in the municipality of Parma, in the province of Parma, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. The city, recognized as the Italian Capital of Culture and known for its artistic, gastronomic, and musical heritage, offers the ideal setting for an event that combines art market, education, and interaction between the public, collectors, and industry experts. The twice-yearly editions, in spring and autumn, confirm the fair's role in the Italian modern and contemporary art scene.
The 22nd edition of ArtParma Fair was held at Fiere di Parma in March 2026, spread over two weekends: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8, then Friday 13, Saturday 14, and Sunday 15 March. The event, hosted in Pavilion 7 concurrently with Mercanteinfiera Primavera, brought together over 80 Italian galleries focusing on major art movements, from Futurism to Pop Art, including street art and pop surrealism. The C.A.T.S. section dedicated to emerging talents was also featured.
In Pavilion 7, over 80 galleries from across Italy exhibited modern and contemporary art, from great 20th-century masters like De Chirico, Rotella, and Fontana to the latest trends in street art and pop surrealism. The C.A.T.S. (Contemporary Art Talent Show) section offered works by emerging artists priced under 5,000 euros, alongside a space dedicated to art books and publishing.
