A craft market on both shores of the lake, connected by boat
Art and Craftsmanship on Lake Viverone is an event that, over three spring Sundays, brings the shores of the largest lake in the Serra Morenica to life, in the municipality of Viverone, in the province of Biella (Piedmont). The concept is simple and charming: slow down, stroll among the stalls, meet the exhibitors, and let yourself be captivated by creations, flavors, and atmospheres that tell the authentic story of this corner of Piedmont.
The unique feature of the event is its layout: the market is spread across two distinct areas, the Lungolago Green Area and the Anzasco Lakeside, located on opposite shores of the lake. Connecting the two hubs is a boat crossing, a detail that turns the visit into a mini-journey through landscape, tradition, and discovery. You start on one shore, explore the stands, cross the water, and continue your walk on the other side.
Exhibitors offer the best of local craftsmanship and food and wine:
The event is organized by Slow Land Piemonte, an association of municipalities that promotes the territory between Lake Viverone, the Serra Morenica, Biella, and Vercelli. Visiting the market is also an opportunity to immerse yourself in a landscape of morainic hills, vineyards, and villages, enjoying the sun and the relaxed atmosphere of the lakeshore. Free admission for everyone.
Three spring appointments bring the shores of Lake Viverone to life with the best of the Biella area's craftsmanship and food and wine. Every Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the stands are distributed between the Lungolago Green Area and the Anzasco Lakeside, with a boat crossing connecting the two shores.
Visitors can browse through ceramics, natural candles, dried flowers, decorations, and many handmade creations, then stop at the street food area to taste local specialties accompanied by regional wines.
The detailed program of individual exhibitors is updated by the organization Slow Land Piemonte close to each date.
Three Sundays: April 19, May 10, and June 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Lungolago Green Area and Anzasco Lakeside, Viverone (BI). The two shores are connected by a boat crossing.
