A summer review in the heart of Argenta

Argenta Summer is the calendar of summer events that the Municipality of Argenta, in the province of Ferrara, dedicates to its citizens and to visitors passing through the lower Emilia plain. The heart of the event is Piazza Mazzini, which for over a month transforms into an open-air stage with shows, concerts, and festive moments designed for all ages. The 2026 edition runs from June 16 to July 28, with regular events and free admission.

Shows, music, and tribute bands

The program alternates genres and formats to satisfy diverse tastes: dance evenings, recitals from local music schools, musical monologues, television entertainment shows, and especially tribute concerts that revisit great Italian and international songs. Among the events of the 2026 edition are the inaugural dance performance, the recital from the Solaris Music School, evenings dedicated to cartoon theme songs, a tribute to the Nomadi, and a rock-punk concert to close the review.

An event for the community

Argenta Summer is the result of co-design between the Municipal Administration and the Pro Loco Argenta, with the involvement of local associations and organizations. The stated goal is to offer opportunities for social interaction and meeting on summer evenings, restoring the square's role as a gathering place. Every Tuesday, the event is enhanced with inflatables for children in Piazza Mazzini and a market of crafts and local products, making the evenings suitable for families too.

Argenta and its territory

Located along the Reno River, on the border between the provinces of Ferrara, Ravenna, and Bologna, Argenta is a town in the Este Romagna region rich in history and nature, also known for the nearby Valli (Valleys) which host important wetland areas. The summer review is an opportunity to discover the historic center and experience the convivial atmosphere typical of Emilia-Romagna, with live music, market stalls, and evening entertainment in the square.
