Open-Air Cinema in the Center of Cesena

The Arena San Biagio is Cesena's summer open-air cinema, set up each year in the charming courtyard of Palazzo Guidi, at via Serraglio 20, a short walk from the historic center. Throughout the beautiful season, the Cinema Under the Stars event accompanies the evenings of the Municipality of Cesena, in the province of Forlì-Cesena, with daily screenings under the night sky, in one of the most anticipated events of the Cesena summer.

Dates for the 2026 Edition

The 2026 edition kicks off on Sunday, June 14, and continues throughout the summer until early September. Screenings begin every evening at 9:30 PM. The opening night features "A Battle of One" by Paul Thomas Anderson, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, a film that won six Oscars, including Best Picture.

Program and Guests

The Arena San Biagio's schedule alternates major international titles with the best Italian and European productions of the season. Among the most anticipated events of 2026, on Saturday, June 27, Cesena hosts director, actor, and comedian Rocco Papaleo, who will meet the audience for the screening of his new comedy "Il bene comune". The programming for August will typically be defined and announced in the following weeks, through the channels of the Municipality and the Arena.

Prices and Initiatives

• Thanks to the national initiative Cinema Revolution, films of Italian and European production (non-British) can be seen at the special price of €3.50.
• From June 15 to 18, as part of the Cinema in Festa promotion, all films on the program - including American and non-European ones - have a single ticket price of €3.50.
