AR.CO.IN. – Trapani Sample Fair

A showcase of 'Made in Sicily' in Trapani

AR.CO.IN., an acronym for Artigianato, Commercio e Industria (Crafts, Trade, and Industry), is the historic sample fair of Trapani. Organized by Mediexpo, it is considered one of the most relevant exhibition events in Southern Italy. Every year in June, the event transforms the Municipal Vehicle Depot on Via Libica into a large exhibition space that brings together local producers, artisans, merchants, and businesses.

Exhibitors and product sectors

The fair welcomes approximately 400 exhibitors from all over the peninsula, with stands dedicated to a wide range of sectors: local crafts, furniture and home goods, food and typical products, services, technology, automotive, leisure, and tourism. For many companies in the Trapani area, it represents a prime opportunity to connect supply and demand, as well as a showcase for the province's productive excellence.

Street food and evening entertainment

Alongside the exhibition stands, AR.CO.IN. offers a large street food area featuring traditional Sicilian gastronomic specialties, from seafood dishes to typical Trapani preparations. The evenings are enlivened by a rich program of free shows: live music concerts, cabaret nights, dance performances, and the famous singing competition Arcoin Summer Voice, which accompanies the public throughout the duration of the fair.

For the Municipality of Trapani and the entire province, located at the western tip of Sicily, AR.CO.IN. is much more than just a fair: it is a social and family event that has enlivened the start of summer for over three decades, attracting thousands of visitors of all ages.
