Angulum Comics: pop culture arrives in Città Sant'Angelo

In the heart of the village of Città Sant'Angelo, in the province of Pescara, comes Angulum Comics, the new festival dedicated to comics, illustration, animation, gaming, and all things contemporary pop culture. Hosted in the charming Municipal Garden of Largo Baiocchi and the surrounding areas, the event brings the energy of major comic book fairs to Abruzzo in a town-sized, welcoming, and completely free format.

A festival for all ages

The core idea behind Angulum Comics is to create an inclusive and accessible event capable of bringing together enthusiasts, curious visitors, families, and children in the same square. It is not just a trade fair for industry insiders: the festival aims to be a celebration open to the entire community, where a passion for comics and video games becomes an opportunity for meeting and sharing. The historic fabric of Città Sant'Angelo, one of the most beautiful villages in the Pescara hinterland, provides the backdrop for this celebration of creativity and contemporary imagination.

Festival areas

During the two days, the Municipal Garden will come alive with numerous thematic areas: the Artist Alley featuring designers and illustrators, the Exhibitor Area, spaces dedicated to gaming and board games, the cosplay area with its costumed protagonists, the Open Stage for live performances, children's spaces with attractions and activities, as well as food trucks and refreshment points. A journey designed to let visitors experience an immersive weekend of creativity, play, and pop culture.

Organizers

Angulum Comics is promoted by the Associazione Bellamè APS, a non-profit organization active in the cultural promotion of the territory, together with the Ente Manifestazioni C.S.A., and is part of the rich summer program of Città Sant'Angelo, which enlivens the Abruzzo village from June to September with events blending tradition, music, entertainment, and culture.
