The Heroic Wine of Mont Blanc
The Fête du Blanc de Morgex celebrates one of Italy's most fascinating wines: Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle, made from the native Prié Blanc grape grown in Europe's highest vineyards on the slopes at the foot of Mont Blanc. A wine described as "heroic" due to the extreme conditions of high-altitude viticulture, it is a symbol of the municipality of Morgex and the Aosta Valley.
All Producers, One Wine
The event's title, "Tous les producteurs pour un seul vin" (All Producers for a Single Wine), tells its story: the various producers from the region come together to promote their wine collectively. The heart of the festival is the tasting of the most recent vintage and, above all, an exclusive limited-edition blend, assembled from the Blanc wines of several wineries and paired with local cheeses like Erbavoglio.
Between History, Landscape, and Music
Enhancing the day in Piazza Assunzione are historical walks dedicated to the history of Morgex and its Blanc wine, exploring the link between wine, landscape, and community, along with live music. The event is organized by the association I Moschettieri del Prié Blanc, guardians and ambassadors of this Aosta Valley winemaking excellence.
Blanc de Morgex Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Fête du Blanc de Morgex takes place on Monday, June 1, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, in Piazza Assunzione. Promoted by I Moschettieri del Prié Blanc, the day offers a tasting of the 2025 vintage of Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle and an exclusive limited edition, a blend assembled from the Blanc wines of various producers, paired with Erbavoglio cheese. In the afternoon and evening, historical walks dedicated to Morgex and its Blanc wine are scheduled, accompanied by live music from the Trio Les Gramophones.

How to Get There
Morgex can be reached by car via the A5 motorway (Morgex exit), along the SS26. The nearest train station is Morgex (Aosta-Pré-Saint-Didier line).
Admission
The tasting takes place in Piazza Assunzione, generally from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. A tasting kit with vouchers for the samples is available.
