The major agricultural fair in Valledolmo, in the heart of inland Sicily
The Agriculture Days in Valledolmo, a small town in the Metropolitan City of Palermo overlooking the Madonie, were established in 1999 and have grown over the years into one of the most significant sector fairs in all of Sicily and Southern Italy. For four days, the village transforms into a dynamic and immersive space where thousands of visitors discover the contemporary face of the rural world: from the latest generation of agricultural machinery to agri-food excellence, and from livestock farming to local craftsmanship.
The fair is divided into major thematic areas that tell the story of the entire Sicilian agricultural supply chain:
Alongside the exhibition spaces, the event offers conferences and technical meetings on digital innovation, environmental sustainability, viticulture, and supply chain development, as well as networking opportunities for businesses and industry professionals.
The Agriculture Days are much more than a fair: they are a defining event for Valledolmo and the towns of inland Sicily, an occasion where the community gathers around its agricultural and gastronomic heritage. The event also includes the Farmers' Market, the Innesti – Case del Gusto initiatives, which turn private homes in the village into temporary kitchens where chefs and producers cook together using local ingredients, and the Agriculture Days KIDS program dedicated to children. With the support of the Sicilian Region and local institutions, the event aims to grow Valledolmo as a leading exhibition hub for the entire island.
The 26th edition of the Agriculture Days confirmed Valledolmo's role as the capital of inland Sicilian agriculture. The chosen theme, "Where the land takes care of the future," focused on technological innovation, sustainability, and the involvement of new generations in agricultural entrepreneurship. Four days transformed the village into a vast showcase of the latest machinery and equipment, agri-food products, livestock, and crafts, featuring the Farmers' Market and numerous exhibitors from across the island. Alongside the stands, conferences and technical meetings were dedicated to local supply chains, digital innovation, and environmental sustainability.
Valledolmo is located in the hinterland of the Metropolitan City of Palermo, at the gateway to the Madonie. By car, it can be reached via the SS121 / SS189, taking the exit for Valledolmo; the journey from Palermo takes about an hour and a half. The nearest train station is Valledolmo-Villalba on the Palermo-Catania line.
Access to the exhibition areas is open to the public. The fairgrounds are spread across the historic center and the town's Urban Park, open for the entire duration of the event.
Wear comfortable shoes to explore the outdoor stands and take advantage of the tastings and refreshment points to savor local products. Booking is recommended for the Innesti – Case del Gusto experiences.
