Agliana in Pasta – Pasta Festival is the delicious event that brings Piazza Gramsci to life every spring in the center of Agliana, a town in the Province of Pistoia, Tuscany. For a long weekend, the square fills with food stalls, enticing aromas, and music, all centered around one great protagonist: pasta in all its forms, from timeless traditional classics to the most creative culinary proposals.

From April 16 to 19, 2026, Piazza Gramsci in Agliana hosted a new edition of Agliana in Pasta – Pasta Festival. The food stalls offered an extensive and varied menu, with classics like chitarrini cacio e pepe and paccheri alla carbonara with crispy pancetta, more refined dishes like paccheri with wild boar ragù and Taggiasca olives, burrata ravioli, and pennette with crustaceans, as well as Tuscan specialties. The evenings were enlivened by music and DJ sets, while cooking classes and fresh pasta demonstrations were held in the afternoon.
Main menu: platters, polenta crostini, chitarrini cacio e pepe, paccheri alla carbonara with crispy pancetta, paccheri with wild boar ragù and Taggiasca olives, maremmani with ricotta and spinach, burrata ravioli, pennette with crustaceans, cacciucco, peposo dell'Impruneta, trippa alla fiorentina, cannellini beans, side dishes, and desserts. By car: Agliana is located in the Pistoia plain, easily accessible from the Prato Ovest or Prato Est exits of the A11 Firenze-Mare motorway and via the roads connecting Pistoia, Prato, and Montale. By train: the Agliana station is on the Florence-Viareggio line (via Prato-Pistoia), a short distance from the center.
Thursday and Friday open for dinner; Saturday and Sunday open for lunch and dinner. Cooking classes and fresh pasta demonstrations are held in the afternoon/evening (usually around 6:00 PM).
