The 2026 edition of the Abbazie Summer Festival grants Roseto degli Abruzzi a leading role. The Teramo-based festival begins in the 'City of Roses' on Sunday, June 28, 2026, with the inaugural concert of the Tavolazzi Pancella Manzi Trio, hosted at GF Interiors on Via Grecia.
The heart of the Roseto events, however, is the Tourist Port Arena in Portorose, which hosts two major evenings in July: on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 9:30 PM, Matteo Mancuso (born 1996) takes the stage—widely considered one of the most surprising and extraordinary talents of contemporary international guitar. The following day, Wednesday, July 22, 2026, it is the turn of Billy Cobham with his Time Machine project: the legendary drummer who wrote fundamental chapters in the history of jazz-rock and fusion.
The Roseto concerts are part of the rich 2026 programme, which features 35 concerts in 45 days, from June 28 to August 5, bringing abbeys, theatres, villages, and squares to life across a dozen municipalities in the province of Teramo. Other major names in this edition include Pat Metheny, Mario Biondi, Incognito, Jan Garbarek, the Yellowjackets, and Planet Funk.

Getting there
Roseto degli Abruzzi is located on the Teramo coast. By car: take the Roseto degli Abruzzi exit on the A14 Adriatic motorway, then follow signs for the town centre and the Tourist Port (Portorose). The Roseto degli Abruzzi railway station is on the Adriatic line and is close to the seafront. The Tourist Port Arena and the Municipal Villa Theatre are easily accessible from the town centre.
