Organized by the Pro Loco Bagnoregio APS, the festival was created to promote a local product and regional cuisine, transforming the historic center into a grand gathering of taste and conviviality for a few days.

A dish of peasant tradition

At the heart of the festival is rabbit, a cornerstone ingredient of Tuscia's peasant cooking, prepared according to ancient recipes handed down through generations. From the food stands set up by Pro Loco volunteers come dishes that tell the gastronomic history of the village: stewed rabbit, cacciatora style, roasted, and in the numerous variations of the local family tradition. It is an opportunity to rediscover genuine flavors, often linked to the rural civilization that has characterized this corner of Lazio on the border with Umbria for centuries.

The event spans three evenings, featuring the opening of food stands and an entertainment program of live music, orchestras, and dancing in the square that make the atmosphere even more engaging.
