About 24 Hours of Sport

The 24 Hours of Sport is the new amateur sports and community festival launched by the Pro Loco of Beinette, in the province of Cuneo. For an entire weekend, the Via Circonvallazione Sports Field transforms into a grand amateur stage featuring 5-a-side football, green volley, table football, table tennis, darts, and pétanque tournaments, along with a DJ set and a highly anticipated burraco card tournament. A celebration designed to bring together sports, fun, and community spirit.

The 24 Hours of Sport in Beinette

The 24 Hours of Sport is the new amateur event created by the Pro Loco of Beinette, a small town in the Province of Cuneo, in the heart of Piedmont. Conceived to enliven the village and create a meeting point for residents, athletes, and visitors, the festival brings together a series of open-to-all tournaments, music, and a challenge dedicated to card game enthusiasts over a single weekend.

Tournaments for every taste

The heart of the event is the tournament schedule, hosted at the Via Circonvallazione Sports Field. Six disciplines are on the calendar: 5-a-side football, green volley, table football, table tennis, darts, and pétanque. The competitions are designed for a wide audience, and participation is open to those aged 16 and over, with final prizes in vouchers for the top finishers.

For team sports, 5-a-side football allows squads of up to ten players with a maximum skill level of Serie B, ensuring balance and fair play; green volley is played in a 4-on-4 format, with the requirement of having at least one woman on the court at all times, highlighting the inclusive and convivial nature of the event.

Music and burraco

The sporting side intertwines with entertainment: on Saturday evening, a DJ set will keep the party going until late. Sunday is dedicated to cards, with a fixed-pair burraco tournament organized by the Amici del Burraco at the Beinette Bocciofila, following the official FIBUR regulations.

A modern village festival

Between matches, there is no shortage of the social moments typical of Piedmontese festivals, with food stalls and gathering spaces. The 24 Hours of Sport represents a bold move by the Beinette community to enrich the summer calendar of the Cuneo area, focusing on amateur sports and togetherness.
