Every year, over 400 vintage cars, selected from the models that participated in the original editions between 1927 and 1957, retrace Italy, crossing art cities, mountain passes, and UNESCO World Heritage sites.

In the 2026 edition, scheduled from June 9 to 13, the caravan crosses Cittadella on June 9, during the first stage from Brescia to Padua. After passing through Carmignano di Brenta, the historic cars parade along the streets of the walled city before continuing towards Piombino Dese. Traffic will be closed during the transit to allow the cars to pass safely.
A unique medieval setting
Cittadella, in the province of Padua, was founded in 1220 by the Municipality of Padua as a defensive military outpost. The city still preserves its original walls today, about 1,500 meters long, with a characteristic elliptical shape and punctuated by 32 towers: one of the best examples of medieval military architecture in Europe.
