Every year, in the month of June, the hamlet of Belvedere in Tezze sul Brenta, in the province of Vicenza, hosts its village festival, also known as "Belvedere in Festa". It is one of the most anticipated events of the local summer, capable of attracting visitors from all over the Altopiano and the Brenta plain.
Fish takes centre stage on the table
The heart of the festival is the food stand, where fish specialties reign supreme: fried fish, marinated sardines (sardine in saor), spaghetti with sardines, and other traditional Venetian dishes. An offering that has built the festival's reputation over the years as a delicious stop for lovers of fried food and sea flavours, despite being located in the Vicenza hinterland.
Music, dancing, and fun
In addition to gastronomy, "Belvedere in Festa" offers evenings of music, entertainment, dancing, and animation, with the classic charity raffle that accompanies Venetian festivals. The atmosphere is that of convivial and family-friendly village festivals, where the community of Tezze sul Brenta comes together to share meals and fun.
Sagra Belvedere — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of "Belvedere in Festa" is scheduled from June 12 to 17 in the hamlet of Belvedere di Tezze sul Brenta (Vicenza). For six days, the festival offers the usual mix of good food and fun, with fried fish as the signature dish.
Every evening, the food stand opens with fish specialties, accompanied by live music, dancing evenings, and entertainment for all ages.

How to get there
Belvedere di Tezze sul Brenta is located along Via Nazionale; it is easily reached by car from Bassano del Grappa and Cittadella, in the plain between the provinces of Vicenza and Padova. Parking is available in the areas adjacent to the festival.
