Music, culture and cinema under the stars in the Castle Gardens
Miraggio is the summer project of the Sottosopra association, born in 2024 to liven up the Southwest Gardens of the Castle of Castelfranco Veneto, in the province of Treviso. The regenerated space lights up from sunset onwards, transforming into an oasis of music and culture in the heart of the walled city.
The festival is divided into three weekly events โ Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays โ dedicated respectively to cultural events, live music, and workshops. The program ranges from concerts, open-air cinema, talks, literary readings, workshops for all ages, and debates on sustainability, in an informal and welcoming atmosphere.
Sponsored by the Municipality of Castelfranco Veneto since 2024, Miraggio involves over fifteen associations and local realities. Alongside the artists, wine producers and artisans involved in natural sourdough bread, chili peppers, miso, and koji participate, united by the principles of sustainability, quality, and craftsmanship that run through the entire event.
The 2026 edition of Miraggio, the summer project of the Sottosopra association, will once again liven up the Southwest Gardens of the Castle of Castelfranco Veneto. As tradition dictates, events will be held on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, from sunset to late evening, until the end of July.
The program will reprise the established formula of live music, open-air cinema, talks, readings, and workshops, involving over fifteen local associations. The complete calendar will be announced by the association in the weeks preceding the festival.
The complete calendar of artists and events for the 2026 edition will be announced by the Sottosopra association closer to the festival. The usual structure includes three weekly evenings in the Southwest Gardens of the Castle: Thursdays dedicated to cultural events (talks, readings), Fridays to live music, and Sundays to workshops for all ages, with open-air cinema and debates on sustainability.
Castelfranco Veneto is reachable by train (lines from Venice, Padua, Treviso, and Bassano del Grappa) and by car from the SR53 Postumia. The Southwest Gardens of the Castle are located in the walled center.
Events are held on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, from sunset to late evening. Free and accessible admission.
