A Festival Born from Water

Vivaro, a hamlet of Dueville in the province of Vicenza, owes its gastronomic identity to the springs that feed the waterways of the plain. It is in this context that the Vivaro Festival was born, dedicated to a signature dish of the town: Trota alla Vivarese, recognized as a De.Co. (Communal Designation) specialty.

The Star Dish

Trout farmed in the pure waters of the region is prepared according to the traditional recipe, but the true king of the festival is the trout pie, a first course that has made the festival famous far beyond the municipal borders. The food stand, active on the evenings of the event, offers these and other specialties in a convivial atmosphere.

Entertainment for All Ages

Alongside the food, the festival offers a generous charity raffle, evenings of ballroom dancing, and the Vivaro Young Party youth zone, designed for the younger audience. The event traditionally concludes with a spectacular fireworks display.

Organization

The festival is organized by the Vivaro Festival Committee together with Pro Loco Dueville, with the involvement of the Pastoral Unit of Dueville. A mid-June event that unites the community of the hamlet and attracts visitors from all over the Vicenza area.
