Summer evenings among the vines in San Vito dei Normanni
In the hinterland of San Vito dei Normanni, in the province of Brindisi, there is a corner of the countryside that changes its character as soon as the sun goes down. This is Vigna – Sips and Sunsets, a thirty-hectare vineyard framed by Mediterranean scrub, where the sunset ritual becomes an experience to be savored slowly. People don't just come here for a glass of wine; they come to linger, listen to music, and enjoy the flavors of the Apulian land as the light turns golden and eventually gives way to the evening.
The project is a direct expression of the identity of the Gruppo Greco, a historic entity in San Vito dei Normanni active in the agri-food and vegetable preserves sector, which has long been investing in the region with new experiential projects. Vigna – Sips and Sunsets began as a simple food truck format and gradually transformed into a truly immersive experience, becoming the meeting point between the expertise of Greco Società Agricola and Antiko – Spizzicaturi&Miscele, run by Salvatore Vita and Isabella Tedesco, another local business. The result is a model that combines agriculture, hospitality, and culture, with artistic direction provided by Salvatore Vita and Isabella Tedesco themselves.
The evenings alternate between music, entertainment, and special collaborations with the local area, always in a relaxed and refined atmosphere that puts the landscape and conviviality at the center. The calendar ranges from circus performers to live concerts, from electronic music nights to food and wine events, with a keen eye for the quality of food and wine. Events are primarily by reservation only and aimed at an adult and discerning audience.
We are in the Alto Salento, just a few kilometers from Brindisi and Ostuni: a land of ancient olive groves, vineyards, and the sea, where summer is marked by festivals, fairs, and outdoor events. Vigna – Sips and Sunsets fits into this landscape as a natural extension of a farm that has chosen to open its doors to the public, telling the story of Puglia through its flavors and its sunsets.
The 2026 summer season of Vigna – Sips and Sunsets is the second edition of the format and confirms the formula that blends wine, cuisine, music, and live arts in the thirty-hectare vineyard in San Vito dei Normanni. A calendar full of reservation-only evenings, curated by the artistic direction of Salvatore Vita and Isabella Tedesco, with a special focus on quality and conviviality immersed in the landscape of the Alto Salento.
The complete and updated calendar is published on the official social media channels. Evenings are primarily by reservation only.
