About L'Umbria che Spacca

L'Umbria che Spacca is the festival that every summer brings the best of contemporary Italian music to Perugia, including pop, rock, indie, and rap. Evening concerts at the Giardini del Frontone with big names from the national scene, a stage spread throughout the historic center, and a format that combines established and emerging artists. A young and popular event that colors the Perugia nights with music and has carved out a prominent place among Italian festivals.

Perugia, capital of new Italian music

L'Umbria che Spacca is one of the most vibrant music festivals of the Italian summer, born in Perugia in 2014 and grown to become a benchmark for the national pop, rock, indie, and rap scene. Its home is the Giardini del Frontone, the historic tree-lined park in the historic center of Perugia, which hosts the Main Stage for major evening concerts.

A widespread format

The festival is not limited to concerts on the main stage: the program is spread across multiple stages throughout the historic center, including the Galleria che Spacca at the National Gallery of Umbria, as well as a morning Garden Stage and university stages (UniPG, UniStraPG). This choice intertwines great music with the city's urban and cultural dimension.

Between established and emerging artists

The lineup alternates national headliners with emerging artists, with a particular focus on the independent scene and new talents. The Coop Music Contest allows bands to earn a spot on the Main Stage. For the city of Perugia and for the entire Umbria region, the festival represents a moment of strong youth and tourist appeal.
