Italian and international street food in the pedestrian area of Viale Agosta, just steps from Villa Gordiani.
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The TTS Street Food – Villa Gordiani is one of the Roman stops on the Typical Truck Street Food (TTS) tour, a traveling format that brings the best of street food to Italian squares. The event takes place in the pedestrian area of Viale Agosta, just a stone's throw from the Villa Gordiani archaeological park and in the heart of the Centocelle district, in Rome's Municipio V. For an entire weekend, the street transforms into an open-air restaurant, with two rows of trucks facing each other and a central area dedicated to bars and seating.
The heart of the event is the selection of about twenty chefs and food trucks, showcasing regional and international street food. Some of the most popular offerings include:
To finish the meal, there is no shortage of desserts: Sicilian cannoli, tiramisu, maritozzi with whipped cream, and artisanal cheesecakes. As for drinks, there is plenty of Bavarian craft beer, spritz, cocktails, and aperitifs.
Colorful lights, music, and outdoor tables create the convivial atmosphere of the event. Admission is free, and the gathering is designed for families, groups of friends, and local residents, who can stroll between the trucks and freely compose their own menu, from appetizer to dessert.
The Viale Agosta stop is now a classic in the Roman TTS Food calendar: in 2025, it was held twice, in the spring (April 4-6) and in the autumn (October 24-26). Organized by Mela Eventi, it is part of a wider circuit of street food events that visit numerous districts of Rome and various locations in Lazio throughout the year.
At the moment, the organizers have not yet announced the dates for the 2026 TTS Street Food stop at Villa Gordiani, in the pedestrian area of Viale Agosta in Centocelle. Based on previous editions, a new appointment is likely during the year, with the usual free-admission format, about twenty food trucks, and Italian and international street food kitchens. Information will be updated as soon as it becomes available on official channels.
The event takes place in the pedestrian area of Viale Agosta, in the Centocelle district, Rome's Municipio V. The area is served by Metro Line C (Gardenie / Mirti / Parco di Centocelle stops) and various bus and tram lines. We recommend using public transport to reach the area, which is pedestrianized for the occasion.
Free admission. Typical TTS event hours usually start from late Friday afternoon and run continuously (roughly from 12:00 PM until late evening) on Saturday and Sunday. We recommend checking the updated dates and times on the official TTS Food / Mela Eventi channels.
