The autumn festival nestled between the arches of Roman aqueducts at the 692 Secret Garden on Via Tuscolana
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Ottobrata Romana among the Aqueducts is the event that celebrates autumn in Rome within one of the city's most evocative settings: the 692 Secret Garden. This hidden garden opens up along Via Tuscolana, shaded by the imposing arches of ancient Roman aqueducts in the Tuscolano neighborhood, just a stone's throw from Porta Furba. For two days, the secret garden transforms into a vibrant open-air cultural hub where music, flavors, craftsmanship, and creativity intertwine in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere.
The heart of the festival is live music, with concerts and performances accompanying the public from morning until evening, ranging from traditional Roman repertoire to Latin-folk sounds, pop, and rock. Alongside the stages, the street food area offers barbecue and seasonal autumn specialties, while the large Hippie Market fills the garden paths with stalls featuring crafts, fashion, jewelry, bags, clothing, candles, vintage eyewear, home decor, plants, illustrations, and prints.
Ottobrata Romana is designed with families in mind: the Kids Area offers creative workshops such as ceramic mandalas, mosaics, pasta necklaces, spin art, and a zen corner for the little ones, as well as face painting and clown shows. It is a perfect way to enjoy the garden in total tranquility, surrounded by greenery and the millennial arches that frame the day.
Located at 692 Via Tuscolana, the 692 Secret Garden is a lesser-known but highly charming green space, nestled among the remains of the aqueducts that supplied water to Rome for centuries. Its location in the southeast quadrant of the Capital, not far from the Park of the Aqueducts, makes it the ideal setting for an event that blends nature, historical memory, and neighborhood life. Born as an autumn offshoot of the popular Primavera Romana among the Aqueducts, the event brings a seasonal festival to Rome and the Lazio region that celebrates the local area and creativity.
Admission to Ottobrata Romana among the Aqueducts is by voluntary donation, making the festival accessible to everyone: Tuscolano residents, Romans looking for a different kind of weekend, and tourists eager to discover an unusual side of Rome, far from the main circuits but rich in atmosphere. It is an appointment that confirms the 692 Secret Garden's vocation as a meeting place for culture, gastronomy, and community.
The dates and detailed program for the 2026 edition of Ottobrata Romana among the Aqueducts have not yet been published by the organizers. Based on the inaugural edition of October 2025, the festival is expected to bring back the usual mix of live concerts, street food, and autumn-flavored barbecue, a large Hippie Market of crafts and vintage items, and a Kids Area with creative workshops to the 692 Secret Garden in Rome.
