Three days of gourmet street food on the shores of Lake Bracciano
In Anguillara Sabazia, a charming village overlooking Lake Bracciano in the Metropolitan City of Rome, TTS Street Food has become a staple of late spring. Organized by the traveling TTS Food tour (Mela Eventi), the event turns the Lungolago di Viale Reginaldo Belloni into a long, pedestrian-friendly village of flavor, with street chef stalls lined up side-by-side, all facing the shimmering waters of the lake.
The heart of the festival is a select brigade of over twenty street chefs cooking live, amidst stoves, grills, and hot plates. The gastronomic selection blends Italian classics with global flavors: low-temperature cooked scottona beef sandwiches, Apulian bombette, fresh fried fish, Jewish-style artichokes, and artisanal carbonara, alongside Valencian paella, Mexican tacos, Argentine empanadas, Texan barbecue, and Greek and Indian specialties. There is no shortage of artisanal desserts, craft beers, and cocktails, all served in recyclable containers as part of the event's commitment to sustainability.
The organizers describe TTS Street Food as "a festival open to everyone, where great food meets conviviality." Large areas with tables and seating, atmospheric lighting, and background music complete the experience, designed for families, groups of friends, and food lovers. Gluten-free options are also available.
The setting is one of the most characteristic villages in the Lazio region: Anguillara Sabazia, with its historic center perched on a promontory and its panoramic waterfront, offers Romans a perfect getaway that combines nature and gastronomy without straying too far from the capital. Thanks to the patronage of the Municipality of Anguillara Sabazia, each edition attracts thousands of visitors, confirming street food as a format capable of enhancing the shores of Lake Bracciano.
TTS Street Food first arrived in Anguillara in 2023 and has returned every year since, establishing itself as one of the most anticipated stops on the tour in the territory north of Rome.
From May 29 to 31, 2026, TTS Street Food returned for the fourth consecutive year to the Lungolago Reginaldo Belloni in Anguillara Sabazia. Over twenty street chef stalls, overlooking Lake Bracciano, offered Italian regional specialties and international dishes, from gourmet sandwiches to fried fish, from paella to barbecue, accompanied by artisanal desserts, craft beers, and cocktails. Free admission and continuous opening for lunch and dinner.
