Signature jazz in the stunning setting of Castel Belasi, Campodenno, in the Val di Non
The Valli del Noce TrentinoInJazz series is a key part of the TrentinoInJazz festival, a jazz network spread throughout the Province of Trento. Each year, the Val di Non edition hosts around ten concerts in the valley's villages, squares, and castles. One of the most anticipated stops takes place in Campodenno, within the historic walls of Castel Belasi.
Castel Belasi is a medieval fortress nestled in the woods above Campodenno. Owned by the municipality, it now serves as a vibrant cultural venue. Its courtyard and restored spaces offer an intimate and atmospheric backdrop for live music: jazz evenings under the stars, with the illuminated castle and the mountains of the Val di Non as a backdrop, have become a signature event for the local community.
The festival is promoted by Trentino Jazz ETS under the artistic direction of Massimo Faes, with the support of the Autonomous Province of Trento and local cultural organizations. The program focuses on contemporary jazz, original projects, and the dialogue between improvisation, folk traditions, and new musical languages, bringing prominent Italian and international jazz artists to the valley alongside emerging ensembles.
The 2026 concert at Castel Belasi is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, 2026, featuring Rachele Amore with her project Rarichi. This work weaves together memory, Sicilian tradition, collective vocal practices, and contemporary language into a performance of strong artistic identity. The evening is part of the Valli del Noce series, running from July 15 to 24, 2026, with ten concerts across Segno, Ville d'Anaunia, Cles, Don, Fai della Paganella, Caldes, Campodenno, Cagnò, and Mezzolombardo.
Now in its fifteenth year in 2026, TrentinoInJazz brings together various series that animate Trentino from July to September with around forty concerts. The Valli del Noce section brings the festival into the heart of the Val di Non, highlighting the valley's historical and scenic landmarks. Most concerts, including the one at Castel Belasi, offer free admission.
