Trabia's craft beer festival, featuring Sicilian street food and live music
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
TrabiRRa – Craft Beer Festival is one of the most anticipated summer events in Trabia, a small town overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea in the Metropolitan City of Palermo, Sicily. The festival takes place in Piazza Lanza, in the town center, transforming one of the village's most vibrant spaces into a large meeting point dedicated to taste, music, and conviviality for the evening.
The heart of the event is craft beer: a selection of labels offered by local and regional craft breweries, with the goal of highlighting small Sicilian producers. Alongside the beer taps, an area is entirely dedicated to street food, featuring local specialties: street food meets the flavors of the Sicilian gastronomic tradition for an informal and convivial experience.
The evening is accompanied by live music: the opening, entrusted to a local band, is followed by the main concert, which in recent editions has brought the Umberto Porcaro Band, one of the leading names in Italian blues, to Trabia. Stalls, merchandise, and entertainment round out the program, making TrabiRRa an event suitable for all ages and especially for families.
Organized by the Pro Loco of Trabia, the festival was created to promote Sicilian artisanal products and create an opportunity for meeting, leisure, and socialization during the summer. Admission is always free, confirming the popular and open nature of the event, which attracts both residents and vacationers along the Palermo coast.
Located halfway between Palermo and Cefalù, Trabia is a seaside resort known for its beaches and the coastal tower that characterizes its shoreline. Attending TrabiRRa means combining a festive evening with the discovery of a seaside village on the Tyrrhenian coast of Sicily, during one of the liveliest times of the summer.
The dates for the 2026 edition of TrabiRRa – Craft Beer Festival have not yet been announced. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Trabia, has traditionally taken place in August in Piazza Lanza, with local and regional craft beers, a street food area, and free live music. This page will be updated as soon as the official date and program for the 2026 edition are communicated.
The festival is held in Piazza Lanza, in the center of Trabia (PA), Sicily.
By car: take the A19 Palermo-Catania motorway, exit at Trabia. By train: the Trabia station is on the Palermo-Messina line, a short distance from the center. From Palermo "Falcone-Borsellino" Airport, Trabia can be reached in about an hour.
