In the height of summer, the small Municipality of Airole (Province of Imperia) dedicates an evening to those who choose the tranquility of the Roia Valley for their holidays. The Tourist Festival is a mid-July event designed as a meeting point between the village community and holidaymakers, in a genuine and familiar atmosphere.
Food and dancing in the festival hall garden
The evening takes place in the garden in front of the festival hall, set up with food stalls and a dance floor. It's the classic formula for summer festivals in Ligurian villages: local cuisine, wine, live music, and plenty of ballroom dancing, in an intimate setting where everyone knows each other.
Airole and the Roia Valley
A valley village along the Ventimiglia–Cuneo railway line, Airole represents an authentic and less touristy Liguria, where its hamlets and narrow streets retain the slow pace of yesteryear. The Tourist Festival is the perfect opportunity to discover this corner of the inland Flower Riviera, just a stone's throw from the French border.
Tourist Festival of Airole — edition 2026
The 2026 Tourist Festival takes place on Saturday, July 25 from 6:30 PM in the garden in front of Airole's festival hall. The evening offers dinner with food stalls and dancing, in the convivial spirit of Ligurian village summer festivals. The event is part of Airole's rich seasonal calendar, which also includes the Lavender Festival (July 12) and gastronomic and musical evenings in August.

How to get here
By train: Ventimiglia–Cuneo line, Airole stop. By car: from the A10 motorway, exit at Ventimiglia, then take SP64 along the Roia Valley.

The gastronomic evening starts at 6:30 PM. Free admission, with paid consumption at the stalls.
