A walk between taste and nature

The Tour del Palato is a food and wine walk that takes place in Prun, a hilly hamlet of Negrar di Valpolicella, a municipality in the province of Verona. The route, about 8 km and of medium difficulty, crosses historic and scenic trails through the hills of Valpolicella and the foothills of the Lessinia, accompanied by local experts.

Tastings and stone quarries

Along the route, several refreshment stops are set up where you can taste the symbolic wines of the area — Valpolicella DOC, Ripasso, and Recioto — paired with local products. One of the most evocative moments is the visit to the Preare di Prun, ancient gallery quarries dug into the stone: testimonies of the extractive heritage of this area, where for centuries the famous Lessinia stone, the 'lastame', was quarried.

An event of solidarity

The Tour del Palato is not just a walk through flavors and landscapes: it is also an event of solidarity, organized by the Prun committee with the involvement of the local community. It combines the discovery of the Valpolicella territory — with its history, its quarries, and its wines — with a charitable dimension, in an authentic and immersive experience in nature.
