The new honey, bees and local products in the village of the waterfalls
The Fair of New Honey and Local Products in Molina di Fumane is the event that, at the beginning of September, celebrates the freshly harvested honey and the world of beekeeping. It is held in the hamlet of Molina, in the Municipality of Fumane, in the upper Valpolicella and in the province of Verona, a village known for its picturesque Waterfall Park.
The fair offers a market of apiary products โ honey, pollen, propolis โ from organic farming, with the opportunity to buy directly from producers. In the morning, in the square, a conference is held with updates on the Beekeeping Registry and the annual trend of beekeeping, with the participation of industry experts. In the afternoon, the "Aperi Honey", a guided tasting of honeys paired with local cheeses and wines, organised by the Regional Association of Beekeepers of Veneto.
Organised by the Pro Loco of Molina di Fumane APS in collaboration with the Municipality of Fumane, the fair has reached over fifteen editions and is one of the most cherished events of the Veronese mountain's beekeeping autumn. Its proximity to the Molina Waterfalls makes the day also an opportunity to discover one of the most beautiful natural corners of Valpolicella.
For 2026, the Fair of New Honey and Local Products will return to Molina di Fumane on the first Sunday of September, according to its traditional timing. Based on previous editions, from 9:00 AM, the market for new honey and local products will open with direct sales from producers; in the morning, a conference in the square with updates on the Beekeeping Registry and the state of beekeeping; in the afternoon, the guided tasting "Aperi Honey" with honeys paired with local cheeses and wines.
The exact date and detailed program for 2026 will be published by the Pro Loco of Molina in the preceding weeks.
