Verona's Summer on the UNESCO Walls
The Mura Festival is the major summer event that enlivens the San Bernardino Bastion, part of the masterful city walls of Verona inscribed in the UNESCO heritage. For over two months, the bastion becomes an open-air meeting place, free and accessible to all, where music, sport, culture, and conviviality intertwine daily.
Hundreds of Free Events
The festival offers 67 days of programming, over 600 hours of free events, and around 250 appointments, involving over a hundred associations and more than twenty global cuisines. The days have a thematic rhythm: jazz and soul mid-week, new emerging bands, party nights, family-friendly events, and moments of relaxation and wellness.
Sport, Environment, and Social Life
Alongside music, the Mura Festival dedicates ample space to sport and civic engagement, with events like the Mura Urban Trail, a competitive race over multiple distances, days dedicated to the environment and urban biodiversity, solidarity walks, and the official Verona Pride party. The space is free for everyone, including associations.
A City Project
Promoted by the Municipality of Verona and organized by Studioventisette in collaboration with DOC Servizi Verona, the Mura Festival has become one of the most beloved events of the Scaliger summer: a way to rediscover the historic walls as a living, shared, and open space for the entire community.
Mura Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Mura Festival, the 7th, enlivens the San Bernardino Bastion from May 28 to August 2, 2026. Promoted by the Municipality of Verona and organized by Studioventisette with DOC Servizi Verona, it offers 67 days, over 600 hours of free events, and about 250 appointments, with over a hundred associations and more than twenty global cuisines.
The program alternates live music, sports, theater, culture, wellness, and family activities, with special events like the Mura Urban Trail and the official Verona Pride party.

Inaugural Weekend
- Thursday, May 28 — opening with Radio Verona live broadcast and «Speak & Spritz»
- Friday, May 29 — live music with rapper Numb
- Sunday, May 31 — Mura Golden Walk with four-legged friends
Special Events
- June 7 — Mura Ambiente, dedicated to urban biodiversity
- June 13 — Mura Urban Trail, a competitive race over three distances up to 30 km (approx. 1,000 participants)
- June 21 — Murasana, with the patronage of the Indian Consulate in Milan
- June 27 — official party of Verona Pride
